The inaugural Carmel Sustainability Fair was held in May 2008 as part of the annual Bickley Carmel Harvest Festival.

The Fair featured a range of sustainability themed stalls including permaculture, backyard aquaponics, composting, beekeeping and natural skincare and cleaning products.

The 2009 Fair will be held in the grounds of the Carmel Adventist College on Sunday May 3 from 10am to 3pm and will feature an even bigger range of stalls and talks and will include activities for kids, live entertainment and a range of hot food stalls.
