In order to make the most of our developing relationships with other schools in the cluster we have developed with the High School the Forrestfield Cluster Science Initiative. We envisage that the project will have several positive outcomes for the school:
- Enable children to experience Science in exciting and new contexts, whether at the high school, Curtin University or other places
- Give students the ability to collaborate, compete with and network with students from other schools
- Strengthen the transition from primary to high school by making the change a less dramatic one through giving students visits to the high school that are non-threatening and interesting
- Give teachers the framework within which they can liase with like minded associates to strengthen their Science teaching.
