Zoo Peru Inc. is a charitable, non-profit organization with offices in Auburn, California, Perth, Australia and Iquitos, Peru. One of its goals is to improve the conditions for the animals at the Quistococha Zoo in Iquitos, Peru. It is their desire to create a premier zoological facility and sanctuary dedicated to the preservation of the ecostructure contained within the Peruvian rainforest, an oasis where flora and fauna indigenous to the rainforest can thrive and flourish, undisturbed by visitors.
