Walk the Zig Zag as the name suggests is a yearly public event held on the old train line in the Perth Hills area (Zig Zag) which used to run from Midland to Kalamunda and beyond about 70 years ago. Though the old train line is no longer present, part of it is set up for the annual walk. Along the track a range of activities focusing on sustainability around the environment are presented to participants.
This year FOTE was offered to form part of this event. We wish to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the Shire of Kalamunda for inviting us and we gratefully acknowledge the support of Marilyn Keys the coordinator of this event.
The event has been running now for the past Nine Years though it's the first time for FOTE and KAPOW (Kids About Protecting Our World) Junior version of FOTE Inc.
The FOTE Inc organization would also like to extend its thanks to the FOTE membership for supporting your organization especially Alan Evans & Alan Black burn.
Thanks team
